A stop at the chippings lay-by on the way to site this morning showed that at least 4 Cattle Egrets were with the distant cows out on the marsh. Quiet for me around the bushes with just Chiffchaffs, Blackcap, Lesser & Common Whitethroat of note.

From the hide: 1 Mute Swan, 50+ Teal, 5 Grey Heron, 2 Lt. Egret, 4 Cormorant, 20+ Blk T Godwits, 6+ Lapwing, 3 Common Sands, 2 Green Sands, 2 Wood Sands, 1 Redshank, 1 Snipe, 1 Curlew (over), 1 Coot, 1 Cuckoo, Swallows, 2 Sand Martin, 1 House Martin, 2 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel. PL/RJ/MR

20:22 Haven this evening- 2 Cattle Egrets on marsh from chippings lay-by.. 

On scrape- 1 Wood Sand, 3 Green Sand, Common Sand, 4 Blackwits and a Redshank. Stonechat on brambles right of hide. Very little in bushes other than couple of Willow Warblers and Lesser Whitethroats.
