13:34 Quick visit over the road up to the cattle pen this morning, but not much doing just 2 Red Kites drifting slowly west. Another Red kite viewed from the Sewage farm cottages later could have been one of the earlier birds. From the hide, the water has filled Leon’s marsh and was now flowing onto the Scrape, it certainly didn’t take long for the water to turn up a decent wader in the Green Sandpiper found by Richard earlier it showed very well enjoying the newly created habitat. The pair of Oystercatcher on the marsh were looking after 2 newly hatched chicks.18 Curlew were the Golf Course end of the marsh. Male Southern migrant Hawker seen by the track opposite the Sewage Farm on the way back.
