17:41 Walk from Frinton to Haven and back via the farm this morning included: 1 Temminck’s Stint, 3 Curlew Sandpiper, 1 Cattle Egret, 6+ Whinchat (3 on seawall first thing, 4 together north of hide, 2 halfway down bridleway), 3 Wheatear (seawall), 21 Swallow (south), 10 House Martin (south), 8 Chiff (1 singing), 6 Blackcap, 3 Willow Warbler, 2 Whitethroat, 2 Lesser Whitethroat, 10 Curlew, 2 Whimbrel, 1 Oystercatcher, 70+ Starling, 18 Pied Wag, 18 Linnet, 3 Cetti’s (singing), 1 Little Egret, 4 Black-tailed Godwit, 13 Avocet, 54 Lapwing, 4 Teal, 1 Redshank, 1 Greenshank, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Ruff, 1 Yellow-legged Gull, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker (calling by carpark), 2 Buzzard, 5 Wigeon (west), 1 Green Woodpecker.

09:05 6.35 to 9.00 Seawatch shelter: Everything going south, 5 common scoter 7am. 19 wigeon, well over 100+ Sandwich Terns. (10/20 Continuity going south close & distant), 6 Swallows.
