11:25 Female Wheatear southern end of golf course.

12:17 Large mixed Tit flock in the Dell at 7:30 this morning. Great, Blue and Long tailed, mainly juveniles, including 3 Juvenile Willow Warbler and a juv Chiffchaff. A few Sandwich Terns moving north offshore this morning, on the Scrape, 1 Greenshank, 1 Snipe, 2 Common Sand, 2 Little Egret, 50+ Blackwit, c30 Avocet, 10 Sand Martin & 1 House Martin.

At the end of July the number of species recorded at the Haven this year stands at 152.

From the hide: 19 Greylag, 4 Canada Geese, 30+ Mallard, 16 Shoveler, 7 Teal, 3 Grey Heron, 2 Cormorant, 2 Lt. Egret, 40+ Blk T Godwits, c30 Avocet, 14 Lapwing, 2 Common Sandpiper, 1 Greenshank, 1 Oystercatcher, 1 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel, plus a few Swallows.

Another lovely day today with a warm temperature and gentle breeze.

From the hide: 4 Canada Geese, 30+ Mallard, 8+ Shoveler, 3 Teal, c50 Blk T Godwits, c30 Avocet, 11 Lapwing, 3 Common Sands, 1 Green Sand, 1 Oystercatcher, 3 Grey Heron, 2 Cormorant, 2 Lt Egret, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Marsh Harrier, 1 Red Kite, 1 Kestrel, Reed & Sedge Warbler, Cetti's Warbler, c10 House Martin, plus a few Swallows & Linnets. PNt/DW/BH/DP/MO'H/MR.

Just a quick visit to the hide for me today, a lot of the Avocet & Blk T Godwits were hidden behind the island but number felt about the same, just 2 Common & 2 Green Sands, 21 Lapwing was a bit of a change everything else much the same.

A nice Red Kite spent some time over the carpark area first thing
