Not normally a bird to get too excited about but this Canada Goose* was species No.100 for the site this year.
The 9 White-fronted Geese were with the Greylags on the marsh below the raised platform while the main scrape held 1 Canada Goose, 2 Greylag, c300 Teal, c100 Wigeon, 6 Shelduck, 5 Shoveler, 2 Blk. T Godwits, 1 Kestrel, 3 Buzzard.
On the marsh to the right of the hide were 25 Curlew.
