A walk in from the Frinton end of the site paid dividends for Ted Sewell this morning when he located 2 Bearded Tits on the boardwalk.

My morning started at the chippings lay-by where 2 Barn Owls were out quartering the marsh and along the hedge behind the set-aside were 1 Corn Bunting, 2 Reed Bunting, 2 Chaffinch and a Kestrel.









On the main site I had my first Butterfly of the year, a Peacock on the mounds. Unfortunately my walk to the boardwalk didn't relocate the Beardies but did add 4 Stonechat, 12 Meadow Pipit & 3 Reed Buntings
