Over the road this morning were 3 Little Grebe on the brook, and a decent group of 250+ Starling, unfortunately no interlopers. Around site, several Lesser Whitethroat were in song with Whitethroat and Chiffchaff also. Adult Green Woodpecker was calling the fully grown chicks out of the nest hole in the car park. Blackwit on the Scrape with 28 Avocet +4 + 2 new chicks. The Oystercatchers have successfully led 3 chicks from the Tern raft to feed on Leon’s marsh and a Gadwall with 2 largish ducklings was on the pond.
