All this talk of Tawny Owls, very jealous, but here's one a local artist friend had just finished this afternoon.

13:12 Quite fortuitous to have a day off today to enjoy the winter sunshine. 2 Pink-footed Geese were resting on the island on the Scrape, also 19 Shelduck. 300 Wigeon and 2 Shoveler were resting on the sea just offshore and 6 Turnstone were on the beach. Pair of Stonechat by boardwalk and a splendid Little Owl perched in a tree at the back of the Golf Course from the 1st southerly footpath up to the farm. 40 Linnets and 4 Chaffinch by set aside.
