Thurs 23rd Dec 21
An increase in the Brent numbers this morning with 900-1000 on the arable on the way to site.
The Purple Sands are quite mobile at the moment, 5 were near the sluice on my way along the front, Liz had 8 mid morning and there were 9 on my return. A walk to the 3rd pillbox gave a brief view of the Dartford Warbler with 2 Stonechats before they flew out to a clump of gorse in the middle of the golf course. On the way back 6 Turnstone were on the rock opposite the wooden hide and a pair of Stonechat were near the first pillbox.
Reports from today:
Liz Huxley
11:42 8 Purple Sands by sluice.
