A big fall of Blackcaps this morning with Richard & Dave having 40+ around the Dell first thing with Lesser Whitethroats and Willow Warblers. Still good numbers around when I arrived plus a Redstart that showed well for a while before being flushed and becoming quite elusive.
The Pied Flycatcher was again seen in the Orchard area for a second or two before flitting off not to be seen again.
From the hide: 7 Greylags, 155 Teal, 7 Mallard, 3 Shelduck, 8 Lapwing, 3 Curlew, 1 Ruff, 1 Curlew Sand (PRD), 132 Blk. H Gulls, 5 Herring Gulls, 1 Common Gull, 2 Grey heron, 2 Peregrine (on arable), 2 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel, plus a few Swallows & House Martins. PRD/DC/RJ/MR
