The flooding is subsiding a bit, but still a lot of water around the site, hundreds of Teal and Wigeon around the marsh but around the scrape area were, 100+ Teal, 80+ Wigeon, 8 Shoveler, 6 Mallard, 1 Shelduck, 1 Cattle Egret, 2 Cormorant, c30 Lapwing, 1 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel, 2 Stonechat, 1 Song Thrush, 1 Reed Bunting, Lots of Starling, 6 Brent (over) most likely those on the golf course later. JR/MR
Richards walk to the Frinton end of the site added just 2 extra Stonechat.

On my way home two Cattle Egrets were over the road just west of the humpback bridge, looking for the cows.
