09:47 Brief visit to Haven this morning included: 1 wood sand (lovely), 1 greenshank, 1 whimbrel, 1 hobby (low north over marshes), 8 black-tailed godwit, 1 shoveler (male in eclipse), 1 great spotted woodpecker (over hide, will be a dispersing juv), 1 avocet, 16 curlew, 2 oystercatcher, 8 lapwing, 1 little grebe, 3 swift (north), 7 swallow (4 south), 1 chiff (singing), 2 grey heron, 16 pied wag, 50+ starling, 4 linnet, 1 hare.
