Thu 18th July 19
The rarest thing on site this morning was the shower of rain, hopefully more to come in the next few days as the scrape could do with a freshen up.
From the hide :- 15 Avocet (+ 23 chicks), 1 Common Sandpiper, 2 Oystercatcher (+ 2 chicks), 3 Redshank, 3 Curlew, 4 Lapwing, 4 Cormorant, 2 Grey Heron, 4 Reed Bunting, 2 Reed Warbler, + a few Linnet & Goldfinch.
C150 Swift headed south just after the rain in two main groups. PRD/MR. 1 Bearded Tit put in a brief appearance PRD.
