Had a walk along the front to the second pillbox this morning, 5 Turnstone were on the rocks below the seawall and 3 Brent headed south offshore, around the pillbox were 3 Meadow Pipits, 2 Reed Buntings and 2 Stonechat.

From the hide : 1 Black Swan, 7 Mute Swan, c200 Wigeon, c 150 Teal, 10 Shelduck, 2 Gadwall, c 200 Lapwing, 10+ Snipe, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Kestrel.

4 Brown Hares were up on the arable a sure sign spring is not far away.
