An interesting 90 mins in the hide this morning with the rain showers dropping bits and pieces in all the time, most of which continued on their way shortly afterwards, these included 1 LRP, 1 Greenshank, 1 Green Sand, 1 Whimbrel, 1 Curlew, 1 Turnstone, 4 BlkWits (1 then a further 3), and a few extra Dunlin.
Settled on the scrape seemed to be :- 23 Avocet, 20 Lapwing, 6 Dunlin, 4 Oystercatcher, 3 Common Sands, 5 Cormorant, 4 Canada Geese, 3 Shelduck, 6 Teal, 1 Grey Heron, c50 Blk. H Gulls, 2 LBB, Herring Gulls. A steady movement of Swifts were also pushed down by the rain along with a good number of Swallows. PRD/JH/MR
