Sea-watching was the order of the day today, with Simon Cox first in the shelter picking up a Leach's Petrel heading north at 08:20. Joined by Pete Davis, Dave Cummings and myself it was obvious that there was a big movement of Brent Geese south with over 1200 noted throughout the day.

09:30-11:00 683 Brent (s), 13 Gannet, 63 Teal (s), 3 Wigeon (2s 1n). PRD/DC/MR.
14:00-15:15 155 Brent (s), 13 Gannet (s), 1 Arctic Skua (s). MR.
2 Mute Swans, 70+ Teal, 30 Wigeon, c130 Lapwing, 1 Snipe, 6 Cormorant, Blk. Headed & Herring Gulls, 3 Common Gulls. DC/MR
