Sea-watching was the order of the day today, with Simon Cox first in the shelter picking up a Leach's Petrel heading north at 08:20. Joined by Pete Davis, Dave Cummings and myself it was obvious that there was a big movement of Brent Geese south with over 1200 noted throughout the day.

0700-0930: 1 Leach’s N at  0820, 10 Gannets N (8 ads), 365 Brent S, 55 Teal,  17 Wigeon, 14 Com Scoter, 35 duck sp, 25+ GBBGs. Simon Cox

09:30-11:00 683 Brent (s), 13 Gannet, 63 Teal (s), 3 Wigeon (2s 1n). PRD/DC/MR.

14:00-15:15 155 Brent (s), 13 Gannet (s), 1 Arctic Skua (s). MR.
