Yet another very windy day with the third named storm of the week, but the wind didn't stop 5 Purple Sands and 3 Turnstone feeding on the sluice and seawall.

Around the marsh were c200 Wigeon, 100 Teal, 14+ Shoveler, 5+ Shelduck, 16 BlkWits (Approach Rd. marsh), 12+ Curlew, 2 Avocet, 2 Oystercatcher, a few Lapwing, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Cetti's Warbler (heard in front of hide), and 2 Peregrine up on the arable with loads of Corvids, also several  hundred mixed gulls incl. a cracking virtually full summer Med Gull (SC) were below the raised platform.
