Thurs 24th Feb 22
A quick visit this afternoon was worthwhile, after watching the Peregrine dive-bombing a Buzzard out on the arable, I found that there were 9 Purple Sands on the seawall just north of the sluice. The Purple Sands were joined by a Dunlin (NFY) on the rocks in front of the Gunfleet Boating Club later in the afternoon.
Sorry about the quality but a bit windy for hand held camera in a rush
Around the Scrape: 80 Teal, 44 Wigeon, 10 Shoveler, 4 Mallard, 29 Curlew, 15 BlkWits, 4 Lapwing, 2 Avocet, 2 Oystercatcher, 1 Snipe, + lots more Ducks & Gulls below the raised platform.
