Tues 22nd Mar 22

A beautiful morning for the short walk along the brook from the humpback bridge to the cattle pen, nothing special about apart from a very loud Cetti's Warbler in the roadside hedge but Linnets, Reed Bunting, L. T. Tit, Dunnock, House Sparrow, Starling, Song Thrush, Lt Grebe, and lots more all looked and sounded great in the warm sunshine.

From the hide: 2 Mute Swans, 2 Canada Geese, c20 Teal, 12 Wigeon, 8 Shoveler, 3 Gadwall, 38 Avocet, 10+ BlkWits, 3 Redshank, 2 Snipe, 1 Lt. Egret, 2 Buzzard, 1 Marsh Harrier, 1 Peregrine, 1 Cetti's Warbler, 2 Reed Bunting. PRD/DW/BH/LH/MR et al.

A single Purple Sand was on the sluice rocks and 10+ Red T Divers were feeding close offshore.
