Mon 12th Dec 22
Cold and bright again this morning with a bit of an onshore breeze but very quiet offshore, 1 Cormorant and 1 Oystercatcher heading north for me, a R T Diver (N) and 2 Stonechat along the front for Dave Cummings on a walk to the raised tee a bit earlier.
20+ Golden Plover on the arable behind the golf course plus 10 Lapwing and 10 Curlew on the marsh to the north of the frozen scrape was about it.
A walk through the carpark bushes gave a few Tits, half a dozen Redwing and a Song Thrush, but bird of the day was a Woodcock flushed from the back of the boating club compound which although it didn't seem to go far couldn't be relocated. DC/MR
