A very wet morning meant the hide was the only place to be.

From the hide: 7 Canada Geese, c150 Wigeon, c100 Teal, 18 Shoveler, 13 Shelduck, 8 Mallard, 2 Gadwall, 13 Snipe, 7 Avocet, 7 Lapwing, 1 Curlew, 1 Marsh Harrier (around for most of the morning), 2 Sparrowhawk, 1 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel and a few gulls. Also 2 Chinese Water Deer and Water Vole (see Haven Wildlife page). DC/RJ/MR
