Lots of singing Chaffinches this morning otherwise quite quiet around the bushes, 3 Turnstone were on the sluice and around 80 Wigeon sitting offshore, a few Mippits, Skylark and Reed Bunting along the front.

From the hide: 4 Canada Geese, c100 Wigeon, c60 Teal, 32 Shoveler, 10 Shelduck, 8 Mallard, 2 Gadwall, 12 Lapwing, 6 Curlew, 2 Redshank, 2 Oystercatcher, c100 Blk H Gulls, 5 Herring Gulls, 2 Reed Bunting, 2 L T Tits, 1 Cetti's Warbler (heard only), 2 Kestrel.

18:27 After an early finish today I walked the seawall Gt Holland footpath loop this afternoon. Chiffchaff sewage farm hedge along the brook. Scrape, 1 Curlew, 2 Redshank, 13 Shelduck, 25 Shoveler, 60 Wigeon, 40 Teal, 2 Gadwall. Large flock of Chaffinch in seeded field south of Donkey paddocks 200+. 1 Stonechat & pair of Med Gulls on the Golf Course.
