Mon 8th Jan 24

A strong N/E wind and occasional snow showers made it quite unpleasant along the front at times this morning.

Offshore it was quiet with just a few R T Divers on the move, 6 Wigeon and 5 Cormorant north and a Shelduck south was about it GS/MR. Graham also hade a Fieldfare (NFY) on the greensward.

Along the front 8 Purple Sands were on the rocks just south of French Point, no sign of the Whitefronts, c100 Teal and 30 Wigeon were on the scrape, lot more Wigeon, Teal and Shoveler on the marsh below the raised platform and 20+ Canada Geese on the approach road marsh MR.
