Very cold out again today but nice in the sunshine, on a walk to the hide c150 Brent were sitting n the sea off the boating club 2 Turnstone and a Sanderling were on the beach. 

From the hide: 20 Greylags (plus the Hybrid family), 20 Brent Geese, c500 Wigeon, c100 Teal, 9 Shoveler, 1 Grey Heron, c300 Lapwing, 220 Golden Plover, 58 Curlew, 6 Blk T Godwits, 1 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel. SC/DP/MR.

A 30min stop in the lay-by late afternoon showed the Lapwing settling in for the night and a cracking Barn Owl quartering the hedge line between the lay-by and the hide MR.
