A large tit flock along the approach rd. held just 1 Goldcrest and that was about it around the bushes today. 2 Lt Grebe were on the brook behind the sluice and 3 Turnstone on the sluice rocks.

From the hide: 225 Greylag, c50 Teal, 23 Wigeon, 7 Shoveler, 4 Mallard, 2 Shelduck, 20+ Lapwing, 7 Blk T Godwit, 4 Curlew, 1 Water Rail (heard only), 4 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron, 3 Buzzard, 1 Marsh Harrier, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Kestrel, PL/MR et.al.
