All the action was up on the arable this morning, 38 Brent Geese and c100 Lapwing with c30 Golden Plover mixed in were on the field between the hide and the lay-by, but when flushed and joined by birds from over the road Golden Plover no's were 120+.

The scrape was frozen so just 5 Greylags on the island, a smart female Marsh Harrier had a fly through, 7 Teal dropped into the pond for a while, 2 Mallard, 2 Snipe and a Redshank (heard only) were also fly overs. RJ/MR.
