The sighting of the day was not a bird this morning but an Otter, a brief viewing in front of the hide, firstly it's back was seen in the open water, then it popped it's head out to investigate the apple on the raft put out for the Water Vole before dropping back under the water not to be seen again. Brilliant !!!

From the hide: 3 Mute Swans, 40+ Greylag, c600 Teal, c250 Wigeon, 108 Shoveler, 10+ Mallard, 5 Shelduck, 2 Gadwall, c150 Lapwing, 2 Oystercatcher, 1 Curlew, 1 Snipe, 1 Peregrine, 1 Buzzard 1 Kestrel. RJ/MO'H/TR/MR.
