The weather wasn't quite as nice today but there were definite signs of spring in the air, several of the 31 Avocet were on the island shuffling around, sitting and pulling in grasses, showing signs of nesting, some of the godwits were moving into summer plumage and even the two Peregrines were mating up on the arable.
From the hide: 2 Mute Swans, c30 Greylags, 6 Canada Geese, c350 Teal, c200 Wigeon, 8 Shoveler, 9 Shelduck, 7 Gadwall, 31 Avocet, c20 Curlew, 6 Blk T Godwits, 4+ Snipe, 3 Oystercatcher, 77 Blk H Gulls, 1 Med Gull 1 Common Gull, 2 Peregrine, 1 Buzzard. PL/RJ/MO'H/TR/MR
