Had a quick visit to the hide this morning and it seems that the light winds mean that the wind pump is only keeping pace with the evaporation during this hot weather so not much change on the scrape.
2 Grey Heron were around the scrape with 1 Redshank, 1 Oystercatcher, 1 Herring Gull (on tern raft), 2 Blk H Gulls, a dozen Swallows were hawking over the pond and a Buzzard drifted over calling. MR.
The first 5 Spot Burnet moths were seen on the way to the hide (see Haven Wildlife page).
