Unfortunately an untimely fault with the solar pump has left the scrape almost dry and wader and gull numbers have fallen, how this will effect the birds sitting on the island only time will tell. 

From the hide: 7 Canada Geese (+12 goslings), 4 Greylags (+ hybrids), 15 Shelduck, 8 Mallard, 8 Avocet, 8 Lapwing (+1 chick), 2 Oystercatcher, c60 Blk H Gulls, 2 Med Gulls, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Marsh Harrier, 1 Buzzard. RJ/MO'H/TR/MR.
