17:45 Short visit to the hide this morning with Richard Jeffree - The water has all but gone from the scrape and bird numbers are rapidly declining - 1 Gadwall, 5 Mallard, 2 Oystercatchers, 2 1st summer Mediterranean gulls + 2 adult flyovers, 3 Canada goose, 7 Shelducks, 6 Lapwings + 1 large chick, 5 Avocet, 60+ BHGs, 1 Little egret.
