Very sad to see the scrape completely dried out today and the island, that has been home to 40+ Blk H Gull and 8+ Avocet nests for the last 3 weeks devoid of birds without a chick being hatched.

Nothing of note around the site today bird wise but 11 species of butterfly noted. PL/RJ/MO'H/MR
