The start of a new month but still quiet around the site.


From the hide :- c100 Wigeon, c100 Teal, 26 Shelduck, 5 Gadwall, 4 Shoveler, 52 Lapwing, 18 Curlew, 9 Blk. T. Godwits, 2 Dunlin, 1 Med. Gull, 1 Buzzard, 1 Sparrowhawk. PRD/JH/DW/TS/MR.


The scrape below the raised platform held a large mixed flock of gulls + a further 7 Shoveler and on the brook a Water Rail was seen briefly while watching 2 Water Voles swimming in and out of the reed fringe. MR
