Much the same around the site this morning with the wind picking up to a near gale by mid-day .

A windswept afternoon visit by Pete Loud gave 22 Shoveler on the pools below the raised platform & 35+ Curlew about the marsh. 
From the hide :-  c70 Wigeon, c40 Teal, 35 Shelduck, 5 Gadwall, 10 Blk.T Godwits, 1 Oystercatcher, + 1 Buzzard being harried by a Peregrine.

A single Goldcrest was also noted in the car park bushes.
