On the way into the site this morning 3 Chiffchaff were noted (1 over the road 2 along the approach road). The car park bushes were quiet and on the way to the hide the pair of Stonechat were still in the area between the pylon and the mounds.

From the hide :- 4 Greylag, 6 Canada Geese, 34 Shelduck,10 Shoveler, 2 Gadwall, + Teal & Wigeon (no count), 26 Lapwing, 12 Avocet, 5 Redshank, 4 Oystercatcher, 3 Blk. T Godwit, 3 Curlew (over), 1 Cetti's Warbler, 2 Reed Bunting, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Buzzard, 1 Sparrowhawk, the walk back via the wooden hide failed to turn up any Wheatears.
