Not quite as warm as promised first thing, but when the sun broke through the cloud mid morning it was almost like spring.
From the pillbox: 3 Greylag, 2 Canada Geese, Wigeon, Teal, 10 Shelduck & a few Shoveler, 54 Curlew, 24 Avocet, 15 Lapwing, 9 Snlpe, 7 Redshank, 3 BlkWits, 2 Oystercatcher, 1 LRP, 1 Peregrine, 1 Marsh Harrier, 1 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel, 1 Grey Heron, 2 Stonechat, 1 Reed Bunting, 1 Swallow. PRD/DC/MR.
On the way out 2 Chiffchaffs & my first Blackcap (male) of the year were around the Orchard area.

07:11 Firecrest, Approach Road.
07:44 Swallow briefly over sewage works then flew out of view towards scrape.
08:58 6 Wheatear at Farm.

13:11 Now 10 + Wheatear in farm paddocks.

21:07 Not much different this evening but a Swallow by French point best. 5 Chiffs in bushes, pair of Stonechat and Turnstone only other bits.
Scrape early morning- 5 blackwit, 6 redshank, 14 avocet and few snipe. Few linnets moving S and an alba wag.
