12:40 Haven this morning, still pretty windy, no sign of yesterday’s Firecrest, but the Chiffchaff was showing well. Scrape 20 Avocet, 1 Dunlin, 2 Redshank & 6 Blackwits. 3 Turnstone on rocks. 60 Curlew, entrance marsh, Sparrowhawk displaying over the road and Cetti’s singing. Peregrine put everything up over scrape and the Red Kite heading south looking spectacular in the sunshine. Red Kite showed again on the way home by Reedland's Farm Little Clacton, obviously touring the area.
