16:16 Firecrest on approach road at junction to haven path.

18:15 Evening visit - Firecrest and Goldcrest on approach road. 2 Redwing and 2 Song Thrush in rest of bushes. Scrape same as earlier (prob. actually less) and 500+ Wigeon still on site. Black-headed Gulls still going north on few glances to coast, and a Peregrine flushing the scrape.

18:15 Quite a departure started offshore (currently on golf course seawall). Decent flocks of Brent, Wigeon and Black Heads moving north. Some v high and distant, others close.

18:51 What started as a typically quiet late pm wander around the golf course ended far better.  At least 8 Med Gulls on the field behind the gc (presumably the same ones that are being noisy outside my window in the mornings!), 2 Cettis in the borrowdyke north of the northern pillbox. Offshore at least 230 Red T Diver, 130 Wigeon with 9 Turnstone north. Then a sudden start of movement offshore (haven area totals) 1025 Blk H Gulls (5 big flocks), 1318 Brent (17 flocks), 231 Wigeon, 40 Teal.  Birds still passing and calling lots in the darkness now.   Mammal interest from a couple of Muntjac, 3 Common Seal and at least two Porpoise offshore.
