I had a wander down to the hide this morning, all the singers were in good form and lots of Butterflies & Damselflies on the wing.
From the Hide: 5 Shelduck, 4 Mallard, 7 Avocet, 2 Oystercatcher, 1 Redshank, 3 Lt. Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 8 Swallow, 1 Cetti's Warbler, Reed & Sedge Warbler, Reed Bunting, Linnet, and a Cuckoo along the back hedge.

12:43 Pleasant walk around site this morning, car park, up to farm and back along seawall. Barn Owl was hunting successfully on marsh, Cuckoo flew over. Up at the farm, Yellow Wag, Yellowhammer, Wheatear, couple of Swifts and Marsh Harrier. Pair of Stonechat golf course, 5 Avocet on the Scrape. (RJ,PL)
