Wed 4th May 22


A wet start this morning, 4 Turnstone and 2 Purple Sandpipers were on the sluice rocks on the way to the hide. The Spotted Redshank was still around, but nothing new had dropped in with the rain.

From the hide: 3 Canada Geese, 10 Shelduck, 6 Mallard, 2 Shoveler, 1 Gadwall, 12 Avocet, 4 Snipe, 3 Redshank, 2 Oystercatcher, 1 Spotted Redshank, 3 Common Gulls, 6 Blk Headed, 2 Herring & 2 LBB Gulls, 1 Grey Heron, the Cetti's Warbler was showing well, plus Reed & Sedge Warblers, Whitethroat, Reed Bunting & Linnets.
