Much the same around the bushes this morning, lots of Blackcap and Whitethroat singing + a couple of Chiffchaff. Three Wheatear were on the Boating Club rocks.

On the Scrape: 2 Canada Geese (with 4 goslings), 5 Shelduck, 4 Mallard, 6+ Dunlin, 3 Avocet, 2 Redshank, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Marsh Harrier, 1 Buzzard, 1 Cuckoo, 10+ Swallows, 2 Sand Martin, Reed & Sedge Warbler, Cetti's Warbler.

Then off to the Naze after lunch for a look at the Blue Rock Thrush, another great find for Darrell Stile.
