Lots of anticipation again today with a lot of east in the wind but very quiet offshore. The Spotted Flycatcher was still in the Dell sallows and a Pied Fly was noted around the sewage works entrance late morning. Four Wheatear were on the seawall around the sluice.

From the hide: Mallard, c30 Teal, 9 Shoveler, 8 Curlew, 7 Blk T Godwits, 3 Lapwing, 4 Ruff, 3 Green Sands, 2 Common Sands, 2 Avocet, 1 Dunlin, 1 Snipe, 85 Blk. H Gulls, 8 Herring Gulls, 1 Common Gull, 1 LBB. SC/PRD/PL/RJ/DC/MO'H/MR.

11:37 Pied fly by sewer gates in pine to the north.

12:33 2 Whinchats and a Wheatear on pathway sea side, north of wooden hide.
