A quick look in the Dell first thing showed no sign of yesterdays Redstart, in fact it was very quiet.

Heading for the hide was a good idea with rain in the air, things were much the same until a juv. Little Gull dropped in, this cracking little bird stayed for about an hour giving some great views before flying out S/W

From the hide:  40+ Teal, Mallard, 12 Shoveler, 1 Shelduck, 40 Lapwing, 7 Avocet, 6 Ruff, 4 Blk T Godwits, 3 Common Sands, 2 Dunlin, 1 Green Sand, 1 Wood Sand, 1 Snipe, 1 Cormorant, 2 Grey Heron, 3 Lt. Grebe, 7 Blk. H Gulls 2 Herring Gulls, 1 LBB, 1 Little Gull (juv), 1 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel, 1 Sparrowhawk. PRD/RJ/MR
