Lots of birdsong around the site this morning, Blackcap, Chiffchaff & Cetti's Warbler around the approach road and Dell, more of the same plus 2 Willow Warbler and the first Lesser Whitethroat of the year in the carpark bushes, Whitethroats on the mounds and another Lesser Whitethroat singing behind the sewage works, with a third Willow Warbler singing in the hide bushes.

From the hide: 4 Canada Geese, 54 Teal, 18 Shoveler, 12 Mallard, 10 Shelduck, 5 Gadwall, 30 Avocet, 10 Lapwing, 2 Redshank, 2 Dunlin, 2 Oystercatcher, 1 Grey Heron, 2 Swallow, Cetti's Warbler, Reed Bunting, Linnet. Plus 1 Chinese Water Deer.
