A Yellow-legged Gull seen by Pete Davis at the sluice this morning was new for the site year list, he also had a Black Redstart (fem) at the Frinton end of the site.

From the hide: 30+ Mallard, 6 Shoveler, 1 Teal, 36 Avocet, 7 Blk T Godwit,  6 Lapwing, 4 Blk T Godwits, 1 Oystercatcher, 1 Dunlin, 1 Curlew (over), 48 Blk H Gull, 1 Med Gull, 2 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Water Rail (heard only).

18:14 Fem/imm Black Red walings beach huts ranging between beach, sand store at haven boundary end and hedgerow at southern end of Frinton greensward (seen PRD earlier). Seen from within haven boundary. Also 15 House Martin (presume first broods fledged) and 8 Sand Martin gc.
