From the hide: 11 Canada Geese, c30 Mallard, 11 Teal, 6 Shoveler (+ 3 juvs), 1 Shelduck (juv), 1 Wigeon, 60+ Avocet, 35 Blk T Godwit, 10+ Lapwing, 2 Oystercatcher, 30+ Bl H Gulls, 1 Med Gull (2nd sum), 1 LBB, 3 Grey Heron, 2 Cormorant, 1 Lt Egret, 2 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel, 1 Sparrowhawk, Swift, Swallow, House & Sand Martin, Reed Warbler, Reed Bunting, Linnet and Pied Wags. 17:12 Walk from Frinton to hide and back via farm this morning included: 21 Pied Wagtail (mainly juvs on golf course first thing), 24 Swallow, 25+ Starling, 9 House Martin, 16 Swift (6 in off and 10 south), 1 Greenfinch, 6 Linnet, 3 Reed Bunting (singing), 7 Curlew, 1 Buzzard, 3 Reed Warbler (singing), 5 Sand Martin, 2 Sedge Warbler (singing), 4 Whitethroat (singing), 3 Grey Heron, 66 Avocet, 27 Black-tailed Godwit, 1 Little Egret, 8 Teal, 1 Chiff (singing), 1 Corn Bunting (singing, flax fields).
