A steady movement of finches through the site was evident this morning with Goldfinch & Linnet in good numbers plus Mippits, Skylark & a few Swallows, otherwise much the same with a few Redwing & Chiffchaff, 1 Song Thrush, Gt Spotted & Green Woodpeckers, 1 very mobile Goldcrest.

From the hide :- 5 Mute Swans (2 adults + 3), 10 Greylag, c100 Teal, 5 Wigeon, 1 Shoveler, 1 Lt. Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 102 Lapwing, 2 Dunlin, 2 Snipe, 1 Avocet, 6 Stonechat, 6 Reed Bunting, 1 Chiffchaff, 1 Yellow Wagtail, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Buzzard, 1 Sparrowhawk, 2 Kestrel  PRD/MT/MR.
