Quiet again today with just a few bits of interest, Pete Davis had a Brambling that was flushed from the mounds calling and looked to dive into the ringing compound but couldn't be relocated.
A few Song Thrush & Redwing were around the bushes as were a couple of Chiffchaff & Goldcrests, a Gt. Spotted Woodpecker was on the feeders and 2 Stonechat and a Cetti's Warbler were behind the sluice.
From the hide :- 136 Greylag, 14 Canada Geese, 100 Teal, 8 Shoveler, 116 Lapwing, 4 Snipe, 1 Dunlin, 1 Avocet, 1 Common Gull with Blk Headed & Herring Gulls, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Lt Egret, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Water Rail & 1 Cetti's Warbler (heard only), 2 Stonechat, 2 Reed Bunting, 1 Chiffchaff, 4 Swallow, 1 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel.
