Not a great deal to talk about this morning, the high points were a Kittiwake (NFY) offshore for Pete and Ian along with a group of 8 Gt. Crested Grebes sitting on the sea, otherwise just a few Cormorants and R T Divers.
A walk along the approach road added a Lt. Egret on the marsh to the north, a single Goldcrest in a large Tit flock, a Jay and a Gt. S Woodpecker. On the front 2 Purple Sandpipers were on the seawall near the sluice PL/IM/MM/MR.
The work on the hide has now been completed and it was open again from around lunch time.
