Sun 19th Jan 20

A much better day today weather wise with lots of sunshine, and not a bad selection of birds either. The pair of Peregrine were up on the arable first thing with a kill, and gave us a bit of fun mid morning by having a dog-fight with the local Buzzard, a Fieldfare (NFY) flew over the scrape and landed on the back hedge for a while, c140 Golden Plover flew through and out over Gt. Holland, 2 Bearded Tits (MM/ML) and a Kingfisher (MM) were also seen.

From the hide : A few Greylag, 8 Canada's, c80 Wigeon + (c150 sitting on the sea), c100 Teal, 9 Shelduck, 7 Shoveler, c500 Lapwing, 9 Snipe, 4 Curlew, 4 Golden Plover, 2 BlkWit's, 2 Bearded Tit, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Fieldfare, 1 Barn Owl,  2 Peregrine, 1 Marsh Harrier (green wing tags "L6"), 1 Buzzard, 2 Kestrel.
